That’s why we are working with him and one of our Nashville-area customers, Holmes By Design, on this new series to give fans an inside look at what it takes to build your own custom home. Step One: Decide where you want it
Whether it’s a lot within a subdivision or sprawling acres of land, where you choose to build should be a spot that meets all your requirements!
Step Two: Find a builder
Josh is working with Holmes By Design for his next big project.
Step Three: Work with your builder on the plan & the design
Do not be afraid to speak up and nitpick on this step! Since a custom home is a blank canvas, there is no need to compromise on the design of your home.
Step Four: Set your budget
Work closely with your builder to figure out what you can afford, and how you can make your dream home a reality. Once your home is completed, there should be no buyer’s remorse in the cost and quality of your custom home.
