EIGHTY FOUR, Pa. (Jan. 22, 2025) – 84 Lumber is stepping up to assist a deserving family impacted by the Eaton wildfire in California by donating $25,000 to help them during this critical time. The donation was announced during a segment on ABC’s GMA3: What You Need to Know on Friday, Jan. 17, 2025.
The Williams family, a close-knit group of 17 relatives living within minutes of each other in the Altadena area, faced heartbreaking losses in the wildfire. Four of their homes were destroyed, and three others suffered extensive smoke, water, and fire damage, leaving them uninhabitable. Among the homes lost was a cherished family residence purchased by their grandmother in 1976.
