84 Lumber Hires New VP of Manufacturing
Eighty Four, Penn.— 84 Lumber announced today that Scott Wagner has rejoined the company as vice president of manufacturing.84 Lumber
Wagner previously spent 12 years with 84 Lumber, where he held positions as store manager, area manager, regional vice president and vice president of components.
“Scott has immense knowledge of the building industry and a deep understanding of 84’s business and culture,” said Frank Cicero, chief operating officer of 84 Lumber. “With 20 years of experience in this industry, Scott will make an immediate impact on our business, offering expert guidance that will bring 84’s world-class manufacturing capabilities to builders nationwide.”
As vice president of manufacturing, Wagner will be responsible for overseeing 84 Lumber’s manufacturing operations, including components plants, engineered wood products centers, custom millwork facilities, and custom door facilities. Wagner will work closely with operations and sales leaders to define the integration of manufacturing into 84 Lumber’s store operations and sales offerings. 84 is planning for extensive growth in its manufacturing division, with two new components plants scheduled to open in Q2 2016.

Wagner rejoins 84 Lumber after six years with ProBuild Holdings, where he most recently served as market vice president.
Wagner is a graduate of West Virginia University. Wagner then went on to perform a four-year honorable service tour for the United States Army as First Lieutenant for the 101st Airborne Division. Wagner currently resides in Raleigh with his wife Dawn and two daughters.
