EIGHTY FOUR, Pa. (June 27, 2023) – 84 Lumber proudly accepted the 19th annual National Preferred Partner Award from David Weekley Homes, one of the nation’s largest privately held homebuilders. Through its National Preferred Partner awards, David Weekley Homes recognized top field and manufacturing partners who have consistently operated at world-class levels, as determined by the homebuilder’s supplier evaluation platform. This is the fourth year in a row that 84 Lumber was selected with this honor.

“At David Weekley Homes, we pride ourselves on providing the best products and services to our customers,” said John Schiegg, vice president of supply chain services at David Weekley Homes. “Thanks to our strong partnerships with our exceptional National Preferred Partners who exemplify the same high standards and help us combat supply challenges, we have been able to maintain that reputation.”

Based in Houston, Texas, David Weekley Homes operates in 19 cities across the U.S. 84 Lumber was among 123 companies evaluated this year, and only 20 percent achieved the designation of National Preferred Partner.

“We are pleased to have been recognized once again by David Weekley Homes as a National Preferred Partner,” said Billy Ball, national vice president of national sales at 84 Lumber. “Their continued focus on quality, standards, and customer service goes hand in hand with 84 Lumber’s own values and our commitment to those we serve.”
